The Embassy of Tunisia in Nouakchott is one of the office’s notable diplomatic references. Designed in association with BICA, the project combines purified white volumes with Mediterranean accents, grounding the complex in a recognisable architectural culture without becoming decorative.
MCB’s role covered the studies, preliminary design, developed design and execution documents. The mission required particular attention to institutional representation, security, and the quality of everyday use in a place that is both ceremonial and practical.
The operation confirms the office’s ability to work on programmes where symbolic dimension is inseparable from technical rigour, and where the presence of a capable local counterpart is essential to the project’s faithful translation on site.
